About the Mississippi Gadsden Flag License Tag
In December 1775, Christopher Gadsden created the legendary Gadsden Flag as a rallying symbol for Commodore Esek Hopkins as he commanded the USS Alfred for the Continental Navy.On April 17, 2025, Governor Tate Reeves signed House Bill 920 into law which approved Mississippi's first Gadsden Flag license tag. Once the legislature and Governor authorize a new tag such as this the process is handed to the Mississippi Department of Revenue.
Before DOR will begin printing the tags, at least 300 of the tags must pre-sell, and that's what this website is designed to accomplish.
