1. When will I receive my tag?

Once 300 pre-orders are received, the Mississippi Department of Revenue will begin printing and distributing the tags. You will be notified when it's ready for pickup at your local tax collector’s office.

2. Do I need to live in Mississippi?

In a philosophical sense, yes, because it is a great place. But for purposes of this tag, no; however this tag is only available for Mississippi vehicles.

3. Can this tag be purchased for motorcycles?

July 2025: Don't know; we're finding out.

4. What if I have more than one vehicle or a vehicle in my spouse/child's name?

Your purchase will be associated with your name and your county, so buy all you want in your name... those will be credits for you when you go pick your tags up at the county.  For vehicles in other people's names, just list that vehicle owner in the purchase form on this page, and the county will be told that that owner gets the credit.
